First Visit
Prior to your first visit, we ask that you complete the New Practice Member Forms. Fill out the forms in the comfort of your home and submit online – no need to print them out. The forms provide us with your health history and any current symptoms, ensuring an efficient initial visit.
Consultation
During each initial visit, Dr. Blake likes to chat about what brought you into our office. Are you experiencing any problematic symptoms? What are your future wellness goals? He will explain the philosophy of chiropractic and how chiropractic care could benefit you. Questions are encouraged. As always, our goal is to educate and empower our practice members!
Examination
After the consultation, Dr. Blake will perform a full chiropractic examination to determine the health of your spine and nervous system. The exam will include a computerized spinal scan, which shows tension on the spine and nervous system.
X-Rays
Our office is equipped with a digital x-ray machine, which is utilized during the chiropractic examination. X-rays notify us of any serious spinal conditions, degeneration, and misalignments.
Second Visit
Report of Findings
After reviewing your consultation, examination, spinal scan, and x-rays, Dr. Blake will give you a detailed report of all findings on your second visit. This will enable you both to come up with a treatment plan that fits your specific spinal care needs and overall wellness goals.
Treatment
After your Report of Findings, you will have your first adjustment.
At Home Care Instructions
After each adjustment, Dr. Blake may recommend additional care instructions to be completed at home, such as icing, stretching, and postural reset exercises. These supplemental instructions are tailored to your specific level of spinal health and will enhance your chiropractic treatment.
