Blake K. Berner, D.C.
Dr. Blake Berner is a board certified, licensed chiropractor, licensed acupuncturist, and founder of BKB Chiropractic in Maryville, Illinois. Dr. Blake is a central Illinois native, who’s passion for health and service began at an early age. After an automobile accident left him temporarily sidelined in sports his senior year of high school, he discovered that trips to the local chiropractor helped him overcome his injuries and get back in the game. It was while witnessing the power of chiropractic firsthand that his interest in a chiropractic career sparked. After completing high school in Pana, Illinois, Dr. Blake spent the next 7 years in higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Medical Science with a Chemistry minor from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before pursuing a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University. After treating patients for a year, Dr. Blake’s passion for holistic healthcare led to additional training in acupuncture and subsequent certification.
Outside of the office, Dr. Blake enjoys spending time with wife and high school sweetheart, Lacy, and his young sons, Luke and Liam. You can usually find them Jeepin’ or taking evening walks with their dog, Yadi. Dr. Blake also enjoys weight lifting, working on his golf swing, and competing in a volleyball league. He looks forward to caring for you and your family!
